Jurassic World: Rebirth Closing In On Surpassing Inception’s Box Office Earnings

Jurassic World: Rebirth, the latest film in the Jurassic Park franchise, is making significant strides at the global box office. With a worldwide gross of over $829 million, it is the fourth-highest-grossing film of 2025. The movie has already earned over four times its $180 million production budget, even with a modest 51% score on Rotten Tomatoes. As it continues to perform well, Rebirth is now eyeing a major milestone—surpassing the box office earnings of Christopher Nolan’s 2010 film, *Inception*. Currently, Rebirth needs to make approximately $10.3 million more to surpass *Inception*’s worldwide total of $839.4 million. Despite playing on fewer screens, the film remains popular in international markets and is expected to reach around $850 million globally. In comparison to the Jurassic Park franchise, Rebirth has already outperformed *The Lost World* and *Jurassic Park III*, but still lags behind the billion-dollar earners like *Jurassic World* (2015) and *Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom* (2018). This performance places it on the cusp of entering the top 100 highest-grossing films of all time.
