Jennifer Lawrence Attends Cannes for ‘Die, My Love’ Premiere Following Birth of Second Child

Jennifer Lawrence made her return to the red carpet at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on May 17, marking her first official public appearance since giving birth to her second child with husband Cooke Maroney earlier this year. She attended the premiere of her new horror-comedy film, *Die, My Love*, wearing an elegant white strapless gown with pleated layers and a small train. She completed the look with a chic updo, natural makeup, a red lip, and black peep-toe heels.

Lawrence stars in the film alongside Robert Pattinson, LaKeith Stanfield, Sissy Spacek, and Nick Nolte. Directed by Lynne Ramsay and based on a 2017 novel by Ariana Harwicz, the film tells the story of a woman consumed by love and madness. Pattinson plays her husband, and Stanfield portrays her lover. The film is produced by Lawrence’s company, Excellent Cadaver, in collaboration with Black Label Media.

This appearance follows the recent birth of her second child, as Lawrence continues to balance motherhood and her acting career. A source close to the actress noted she is doing well and adjusting to life with a newborn and toddler. Lawrence and Maroney also share a three-year-old son named Cy. She previously confirmed her second pregnancy in late 2024.
