Unresolved Cliffhangers in the MCU and What Could Happen Next

Since the conclusion of the Infinity Saga, Marvel Studios has built a sprawling web of loose ends, unresolved teasers, and promises that have yet to be paid off in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). From the mysterious return of Vision in ‘WandaVision’ to the cryptic post-credits scenes in ‘Shang-Chi,’ ‘Eternals,’ and ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ fans are left wondering what direction these storylines will take. Many characters, like White Vision and Sharon Carter’s Power Broker, have remained absent from the spotlight, while others, like Harry Styles’ Eros and Blade, have introduced new threads that haven’t been fully explored. Director Kevin Feige hints that some of these unresolved narratives may take a decade or more to resolve. With a focus on multiverse exploration, new heroes, and legacy characters, Marvel’s next phase holds many unanswered questions. Upcoming projects, such as ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Shang-Chi 2,’ may provide some closure, but only time will tell how the MCU will address these dangling plot points. Until then, Marvel fans are left speculating about what might come next for their favorite heroes and villains.
