The scene was challenging and psychological, requiring trust-building with the pilot over two weeks. Reflecting on the experience, Theron jokingly noted that after pulling it off, she’d be okay never doing another stunt again. The second film, directed by Victoria Mahoney, explores the immortal characters’ efforts to protect humanity from threats within their own ranks. Theron also touched upon the future of the franchise, hinting at a potential third installment, but stated that for now, the team is taking a break. As a producer on the project, Theron expressed excitement over the cliffhanger ending of the second film, which sets the stage for future developments.
