BAFTA TV Awards 2025: Winners and Red Carpet Highlights from Royal Festival Hall
The 2025 BAFTA TV Awards took place on May 11 at London’s Royal Festival Hall, drawing a host of prominent actors, directors, and entertainers to its red carpet, under the sunny spring skies. The ceremony was hosted by Alan Cumming, who arrived with singer Jessie J, and showcased major wins and appearances across the British television industry. Marisa Abela won Best Leading Actress for her role in ‘Industry’, while Jessica Gunning added to her award season triumphs by securing Best Supporting Actress for her work in ‘Baby Reindeer’.
However, the night belonged to ‘Mr Bates vs The Post Office’, which won Best Limited Drama, continuing its critically acclaimed run. The ITV drama shed light on the real-life scandal involving wrongful convictions of hundreds of British postmasters, striking a national chord. Other notable attendees included Tramell Tillman, Billy Porter, James Corden, Graham Norton, Martin Freeman, Nicola Coughlan, and many others representing shows like ‘Heartstopper’, ‘Black Mirror’, and ‘Blue Lights’.
The event, organized in partnership with P&O Cruises, celebrated a strong year for British television, acknowledging both powerful performances and the industry’s expanding diversity and storytelling depth.
