tvN Previews Fantasy Romance Drama ‘Bon Appétit, Your Majesty’ Starring YoonA and Lee Chae Min

tvN has released a preview of its upcoming fantasy romance drama ‘Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,’ starring Girls’ Generation’s YoonA and rising actor Lee Chae Min. The series is based on a well-known web novel and follows the story of a modern French chef, Yeon Ji Young, who unexpectedly travels 500 years into the past. There, she encounters Lee Heon, a feared and refined tyrant king of the Joseon era, known for his deep appreciation for cuisine.

Directed by Jang Tae Yoo, whose credits include ‘My Love from the Star’ and ‘Painter of the Wind,’ the drama promises a blend of historical intrigue, romance, and culinary artistry. In the first released images, YoonA’s character is shown confidently cooking in a traditional kitchen, while Lee Chae Min’s King Lee Heon appears brooding and dangerous. The drama explores the unlikely bond that forms between the two through their shared love of food and emotional growth.

According to the production team, viewers can expect a sensory-rich experience combining royal Korean cuisine with modern cooking techniques, along with palace politics and romantic tension. ‘Bon Appétit, Your Majesty’ is scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2025.
