Ivana Baquero’s Career: From Pan’s Labyrinth to Netflix’s A Widow’s Game

Ivana Baquero, who currently stars as Maje in Netflix’s number one film ‘A Widow’s Game’, gained international fame in 2006 with her role as Ofelia in Guillermo del Toro’s acclaimed ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’. Born in Barcelona in 1994, Baquero began acting at a young age, making her debut in 2004’s supernatural thriller ‘Romasanta’. Her breakout role in ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’ earned her awards such as Best New Actress at the Goya Awards and a Saturn Award.

In ‘A Widow’s Game’, Baquero portrays Maje, a young widow suspected of murdering her husband in a true-crime story based on the real-life case known as ‘The Black Widow of Patraix’.
