First Trailer Released for the New Peaky Blinders Film ‘The Immortal Man’

Netflix has released the first full trailer for the new Peaky Blinders film, ‘The Immortal Man,’ continuing the story of Steven Knight’s acclaimed historical crime drama. The film is set in Birmingham in 1940 during World War Two, with Cillian Murphy reprising his role as Tommy Shelby, now older and returning from self-imposed exile to confront personal and familial challenges. New cast members include Rebecca Ferguson as the mysterious Kaulo, Tim Roth as British Fascist sympathizer Beckett, and Barry Keoghan as Tommy’s son, Duke Shelby, who may be tempted into treachery. Returning actors Stephen Graham and Sophie Rundle continue their roles, portraying key figures in the Shelby family saga. The trailer highlights tensions within the family, the consequences of past actions, and Duke’s potential betrayal, set against a backdrop of wartime Birmingham. The film also continues the franchise’s reputation for a distinctive musical atmosphere, featuring tracks by Fontaines DC, Amy Taylor, Nick Cave, and others. ‘The Immortal Man’ will premiere in select cinemas on 6 March, ahead of its streaming release on Netflix on 20 March. Following the film, the Peaky Blinders TV series will return to explore the story of the new generation of the Shelby family after the war.
