Ustaad Bhagat Singh Struggles at the Box Office, Recovering Less Than Half of Its Budget

Pawan Kalyan’s latest Telugu action film, ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh,’ has underperformed at the Indian box office, earning less than 70 crore in its first six days. Despite a promising opening, the film quickly lost momentum during weekdays due to below-average content and lack of pre-release buzz. Made on an estimated budget of 150 crore, the movie has so far recovered only about 43% of its investment, marking Pawan Kalyan’s fourth consecutive box office failure following ‘Bro,’ ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu,’ and ‘They Call Him OG.’ Day-wise collections show a significant drop after the opening, with Day 1 earning 34.75 crore and Day 6 collecting just 1.75 crore. The total net collection stands at approximately 64.6 crore, or 76.22 crore gross. Directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers, the film stars Sreeleela, Raashii Khanna, R Parthiban, and KS Ravikumar. With poor box office performance, the movie is expected to earn less than 85 crore net in its lifetime, confirming its status as a commercial loss in the Telugu film industry.
