Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock to Reunite for New Romantic Thriller at Amazon MGM

Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock are set to reunite on-screen in an upcoming romantic thriller being developed by Amazon MGM Studios. While the plot remains under wraps, the project is being described by the studio as ‘propulsive.’ The screenplay is written by Noah Oppenheim, known for his work on ‘Jackie’ and ‘Zero Day.’ The untitled film will be produced by a team that includes Bullock through her company Fortis Films, Reeves, and Mark Gordon and Bibby Dunn via The Mark Gordon Company, along with Oppenheim and Sarah Bremner from Prologue Entertainment.

This marks a reunion not only for Reeves and Bullock, who starred together in the 1994 action hit ‘Speed’ and the 2006 romantic drama ‘The Lake House,’ but also for Mark Gordon, who previously collaborated with them. The idea was initiated by Gordon and Oppenheim, who then brought it to the lead actors to develop.

Reeves recently appeared in ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ and ‘The Matrix Resurrections,’ while Bullock has been involved in films such as ‘The Lost City’ and ‘Bird Box.’ The film is positioned as a high-profile project that builds on the chemistry and legacy of the two actors, aiming to offer something both nostalgic and fresh for fans of their earlier collaborations.
