Bonnie Bartlett, a celebrated American actress, was recently spotted in Los Angeles enjoying a rare solo outing at the age of 96. Bartlett, who married fellow actor William Daniels in 1951 at just 18 years old, is one half of Hollywood’s oldest living married couple. Their relationship, which will mark 75 years in June, included a brief period in the early years of an open marriage, which Bartlett later described as painful. Over the decades, both have shared numerous on-screen roles, most notably as spouses in ‘Boy Meets World’ and ‘St. Elsewhere’, for which Bartlett won two Emmy Awards. Her long career also includes appearances in ‘Little House on the Prairie’, ‘Twins’, ‘Shiloh’, and ‘Better Call Saul’. The couple have three children and four grandchildren. Despite early marital challenges, Bartlett emphasises that the strength of their relationship lies in mutual support, commitment, and shared experiences, allowing them to remain together for seven decades.
