Despite Hansen’s public skepticism about the film, which he hasn’t seen due to an NDA, Pattinson emphasized the inspirational impact of Hansen’s character. The movie, directed by Lance Oppenheim in his narrative debut, explores the ethical dilemmas of Hansen’s methods on ‘To Catch a Predator.’ While Hansen criticized the dramatization of the show, he admitted his family found the film compelling.
