Gyllenhaal returns as Dalton, an ex-UFC fighter turned bouncer, and will produce alongside Josh McLaughlin (Nine Stories Productions) and Altas Entertainment’s Charles Roven and Alex Gartner. Screenwriter Will Beall (*Aquaman*, *Bad Boys: Ride or Die*) is penning the script, though plot details remain undisclosed. The sequel follows a public dispute between original director Doug Liman and Amazon over the first film’s streaming-only release, which Liman argued deserved a theatrical rollout.
