Prime Video 2026 lineup: New shows, films and seasons for Hindi, Tamil and Telugu audiences

Prime Video has unveiled its extensive 2026 slate, signalling continued investment in Indian content despite industry-wide uncertainties. The platform will introduce new shows across Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages, along with sequels to popular series and movies premiering directly on the streaming service after their theatrical run. Notable additions include the Hindi series ‘Storm’, featuring Hrithik Roshan’s HRX Films, ‘Matka King’ by Nagraj Manjule, and ‘Welcome to Khoya Mahal’ directed by Konkona Sensharma and Jaydeep Sarkar. Popular returning series like ‘Farzi’, ‘Dahaad’, ‘Call Me Bae’, ‘Panchayat’, ‘Dupahiya’, ‘Vadhandhi’, and ‘Inspector Rishi’ will also continue with new seasons. Among films heading to Prime Video post-theatrical release are Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Naagzilla: Naag Lok Ka Pehla’, Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘O’Romeo’, and sequels like ‘G2’ and ‘Dacoit – Oka Prema Katha’. Executives emphasised the international appeal of Indian content, noting that a quarter of their viewers and shows originate from outside India. Overall, the 2026 lineup demonstrates Prime Video’s commitment to diverse storytelling, blending comedy, thrillers, crime dramas, romance, and supernatural themes, and providing a robust mix for audiences both within India and globally.
