Veteran Nollywood Actor Solomon Akiyesi Dies in Sleep

Veteran Nollywood actor and filmmaker Solomon Akiyesi, from Ososo in Edo State, don pass away. The sad news was confirmed by Abubakar Yakubu, President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria. Akiyesi reportedly go sleep on Sunday night and never wake up, and him body don carry go morgue for Abuja where the incident happen. The Actors Guild dey wait for more details from him family to know wetin really happen. Solomon Akiyesi start him acting career for late 1990s and build strong reputation in Nollywood, starring in more than 100 films. Some of him notable works include ‘Marry Who You Love’, ‘Kiss My Pain’, ‘Joy of Nakasha’, ‘Heart of a Saint’, ‘Deadly Affair’, ‘Gen Z Wife’, ‘Olaedo The Fisher Girl’, ‘Pretty Liars’, ‘The End Is Near’, and ‘Desperate Ladies’. Many fans and colleagues don take social media to mourn am and celebrate him contributions to Nollywood. This dey come just three weeks after the passing of veteran actor Davis Offor, known for him role as Clarus for the classic sitcom ‘The New Masquerade’. The Nollywood community dey feel the loss as two respected actors don leave so close to each other.
