Lily James and Chris Hemsworth to star in submarine thriller ‘Subversion’ for Amazon MGM

Lily James has joined Chris Hemsworth in the submarine thriller titled ‘Subversion,’ which will be directed by Patrick Vollrath for Amazon MGM. The film, written by Andrew Ferguson, is set in a tense, high-stakes environment reminiscent of a ‘Die Hard on a submarine.’ It follows a former naval commander, portrayed by Hemsworth, who is coerced by a cartel-like organization into piloting a dangerous submarine filled with illegal cargo across international waters.
