Actress Lar Park Lincoln Dies at 63 After a 45-Year Career in Film and Television

Lar Park Lincoln, renowned for her roles in the TV soap opera ‘Knots Landing’ and the horror film ‘Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood,’ has died at the age of 63. Her passing was confirmed by Actors Audition Studios, the Dallas-based company she founded. Lincoln had a 45-year-long career in Hollywood, balancing acting with mentoring aspiring actors. Although she had previously battled breast cancer, the official cause of death was not disclosed. She was also a mother of two and is survived by her daughter Piper, her son Trevor, a sister, a brother, and four grandchildren. Lincoln’s career highlights include her role as Linda Fairgate in ‘Knots Landing,’ a popular series that ran from 1979 to 1993, and her portrayal of telekinetic Tina Shepard in the 1988 horror film. In 2008, she released a memoir titled ‘Get Started Not Scammed,’ providing advice on the acting, modeling, and pageant industries. Later, she created Actors Audition Studios to offer innovative training methods for actors. The family has requested privacy and has asked that donations be made to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation or The Entertainment Community Fund.
