Jessica Alba and Cash Warren finalize divorce and agree to equal asset division
Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have officially finalized their divorce after more than a year of separation, marking the end of their 16-year marriage. According to court filings signed on March 16 and obtained by media outlets, the former couple agreed to divide all community property accumulated during their marriage equally. This includes various investments, real estate, stocks, and financial interests from several joint ventures. One major element of the settlement involves The Honest Company, the consumer brand Alba founded and developed significantly over the years, in which Warren also had financial interests.
The settlement also stipulates that Alba will pay Warren $5 million from the sale of one of their jointly owned properties. Additionally, $500,000 will be set aside to cover expenses related to their three children. Both parties will retain a share of each other’s earnings accumulated during the marriage, including Alba’s acting residuals and Warren’s producing profits. The couple will share joint legal custody of their children, ensuring that both retain a role in significant parenting decisions.
No child support or spousal support payments are required under the current agreement, and both have waived any future claims for alimony. The finalized settlement not only ties up financial and legal matters but also reflects a mutual effort to co-parent amicably while moving forward separately. Alba has previously spoken on social media about focusing on personal growth and embracing new beginnings after the marriage, indicating that both she and Warren are entering a fresh chapter in their lives.
