Jason Bateman and Linda Cardellini Submitted for Supporting Emmys for HBO Max Series ‘DTF St. Louis’

Jason Bateman and Linda Cardellini are seeking Emmy consideration for their roles in HBO Max’s limited series ‘DTF St. Louis.’ Bateman, portraying local weatherman Clark Forrest, has been submitted for supporting actor (limited), while Cardellini, as Floyd’s witty wife Carol, has been submitted for supporting actress (limited). The series, created, written, and directed by Steven Conrad, revolves around a complex love triangle and a mysterious death at a community pool. David Harbour, who plays ASL interpreter Floyd Smernitch, has not yet had a category submission decision announced. Bateman is also competing this Emmy cycle for Netflix’s ‘Black Rabbit,’ across lead actor, directing, and executive producer categories, potentially joining a rare group of producers nominated for two separate limited series in the same year. Both Bateman and Cardellini bring strong Emmy histories to the race, with Bateman having 14 previous nominations and one win for directing ‘Ozark,’ and Cardellini having prior nominations for ‘Mad Men’ and ‘Dead to Me.’ ‘DTF St. Louis’ is now streaming on HBO Max, and additional Emmy category submissions are expected later in the awards season.
