Jamie Bell and Charlie Heaton to Star in Peaky Blinders Spin-Off Set in 1950s Birmingham

A new spin-off of the acclaimed series Peaky Blinders has been announced, featuring Jamie Bell and Charlie Heaton in leading roles. Bell will take on the role of Duke ‘Erasmus’ Shelby, the newly appointed leader of the notorious crime family, set a decade after the events of the film The Immortal Man. The narrative promises to explore a more mature and ambitious Duke, delving into his increasing influence and the dangerous world of 1950s Birmingham. Joining the cast are Jessica Brown Findlay, Lashana Lynch, and newcomer Lucy Karczewski, who will contribute to the evolving storylines of the gang and the city around them. The spin-off has been created by Steven Knight, the original mind behind Peaky Blinders, and has been commissioned for two series, each consisting of six hour-long episodes.
