Priscilla Ojo Shares How Iyabo Ojo Raised Her and Her Brother Alone After Their Parents Separated

Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, don open up about her childhood and how she and her brother were raised after their parents separated. During a conversation with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Priscilla explained say her parents stopped being together when she was still very young. According to her, even though her father was not actively present while she was growing up, she never really felt like there was any missing gap in her life.

She gave full credit to her mother, Iyabo Ojo, saying the actress handled both mother and father responsibilities very well. Priscilla said her mum made sure she and her brother got the care, love and support they needed, which made the absence of a father figure less noticeable. In her words, her parents simply “fell out of love,” and her mother stepped up fully for the children.

Priscilla was born to Iyabo Ojo and film marketer Ademidun Ojo. After their relationship ended, Iyabo raised both children as a single mother. Her older brother, Festus Ojo, was born in 1999, while Priscilla was born in 2001.
