Ray Emodi Clarifies: Shift to Music Was His True Calling, Not Trauma or Family Pressure

Nollywood actor and singer Ray Emodi don clear the air for TVC interview say him no leave acting because of traumatic experiences or family pressure like some people dey report before. Him talk say him never truly quit acting, but him just decide to focus more on music wey be him real calling from time. Ray explain say since im primary school days for international school for Enugu, him don dey write and record music, and even before him enter acting proper, him don spend like 10 years dey make music for different places including LA. Him go study acting for New York Film Academy for Los Angeles not just to learn acting, but na strategy to get US visa so him fit chase record deal for music—because music school no dey easy give visa, but acting school fit. The plan no work well, so him come back Naija 2015 and continue with music while still acting to raise money for studio, producers, engineers, videos and all those things wey music need. Even though acting give am fame first, him say music go give am more impact, and him no too dey care about fame itself—na to touch people lives be the main thing for am, because impact go bring fame and money sef. This one na him way to correct wrong stories wey dey fly around about why him shift focus.
