Despite this, sources revealed that Clooney’s team remained hopeful that he would be able to attend the premiere of ‘Jay Kelly’ later in the evening. Clooney, 64, was seen leaving the Hotel Excelsior to head home after being advised to rest. His co-stars, including Adam Sandler, Laura Dern, and Billy Crudup, represented the film at its press conference. While his absence was noted, his team expressed optimism about his return to the festival’s events.
