Director Mohit Suri is teaming up once again with actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda for a new romantic film, this time backed by Yash Raj Films and producer Akshaye Widhani. The project will mark the reunion of the hit team behind the 2025 blockbuster Saiyaara, which told the emotional story of a rising musician and a lyricist coping with early‑onset Alzheimer’s and went on to become one of Indian cinema’s highest‑grossing love stories. The new film is being described as an intense, heartfelt romance that will blend strong storytelling with memorable music, continuing the same emotional style that made Saiyaara a success. The production house has said the untitled project aims to create a cinematic experience that lingers with audiences long after the credits roll. Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, who became overnight sensations with Saiyaara, are returning to the romance genre after taking on other projects, with both the actors and the director calling the collaboration more honest, vulnerable and enduring. The film is expected to go on floors later in 2026 and is targeting a worldwide theatrical release in 2027.
