Chadwick Boseman to be Honored with Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Chadwick Boseman, the late actor best known for his role as T’Challa in the Marvel blockbuster ‘Black Panther,’ will be posthumously honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This recognition comes five years after his death from colon cancer at the age of 43 in 2020. The star will be unveiled in a ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard on November 20, with Boseman’s widow, Simone, expected to accept the honor on his behalf. Fellow industry figures like ‘Black Panther’ director Ryan Coogler and actress Viola Davis are scheduled to speak at the event. Boseman’s legacy extends beyond ‘Black Panther,’ with notable roles as Jackie Robinson in ’42’ and James Brown in ‘Get On Up.’ He earned posthumous awards and nominations, including at the Oscars and Golden Globes. His death was a shock to fans, as he kept his battle with cancer private. The Walk of Fame star solidifies his place alongside other Marvel stars and highlights his lasting impact on film and culture.
