Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden announce the birth of their third child

Cameron Diaz, aged 53, and her husband Benji Madden have welcomed their third child, Nautas Madden. The couple shared the news via Instagram, with Benji expressing their joy and gratitude for their growing family. They are already parents to daughter Raddix, born in December 2019, and son Cardinal, born in March 2024, both through surrogacy. Although no photos of the newborn were shared, Benji explained the name’s meaning, describing Nautas as ‘Sailor, navigator, voyager – one who embarks on a journey and fears not the unknown.’ Cameron responded with a series of star and heart emojis. The couple have consistently prioritised the privacy of their children, following the same approach for their previous births. Recently, Cameron reflected on her experience as an older mother, emphasising the importance of vitality and longevity for her children, and spoke about balancing her return to acting with family life. She has resumed her career after a decade-long hiatus and is involved in upcoming projects, including Apple TV’s Outcome and The Sham, as well as reprising her role as Princess Fiona in the new Shrek film scheduled for 2027.
